“…and yes there are over a million words in our language, but for some reason none of them can describe the way you make me feel” – r.m. drake // This quote perfectly describes Cindy and Steve when they look at one another. I was honored to photograph their gorgeous Floating World Gallery wedding in May.
Cindy contacted me month’s ago inquiring about wedding photography for her upcoming Floating World Gallery wedding. Cindy and her fiancé, Steve, had recently moved out of state so it was a group family and friend effort to put together the details for the wedding day 🙂 I met with Cindy, her sister and her parents at the Floating World Gallery on one of her visits back to Chicago to go over details for the wedding. During our visit I not only got to know Cindy better but was super impressed with how amazingly organized she was – this is a HUGE plus for any wedding photographer!
The wedding day arrived and the weather could not have been more perfect, it was sunny with blue skies and fifty degrees – perfection! The day started with a few photo’s of the bride and her girls getting ready and a couple shots of the groom and his best man in the alley next to the venue. The wedding ceremony was held in the east loft space at the Floating World Gallery followed by dinner and the reception in the front gallery space. The day’s itinerary was perfect and Cindy was so organized we even had some time for some artistic portraits in the Floating World Gallery stairway which I love!
My favorite part of Cindy and Steve’s Floating World Gallery wedding are the gorgeous candid’s of these lovebirds!!! On Cindy and Steve’s first date they were so enamored with each other that they closed down the bar talking late into the night, cheers to a lifetime of closing down the bar together! xo – Lisa
