She is a Social Worker in one of the roughest cities in America – Flint, MI. I went to visit her a couple weeks ago and she showed me around Flint and the surrounding area’s. We went to a farmers market downtown and a beautiful nature preserve just outside the city. My sister has always felt at peace in nature and I absolutely LOVE the shots I got of her at the preserve.
Week 5 of 52 – I’m a little under the weather and thought it was a good day to go to the Chicago Conservatory. This place is a-MA-zing, but especially in the winter. You step in and feel like you have been whisked away to a tropical rain forest. The smells, the humidity and the flowers are all a welcome escape from winter. I assumed this week’s shoot would be quite boring, I mean come ‘on…plants? But, surprisingly, I was in awe at the colors and textures I was able to capture.
