“We loved with a love that was more than love” – Edgar Allen Poe // When I read this quote it seemed so fitting for this colorful Carnivale Chicago Wedding.
I got a message from Manuel a couple month’s ago asking if I was available for an intimate wedding at Carnivale Chicago on a Saturday in August. Real talk: I had originally left this weekend free because I knew my sister and my niece and nephew were going to be in town but I just LOVE this location and everything about this wedding was telling me to photograph it! (My sister knows how much I enjoy my job and totally understood by the way 🙂 – thanks Sarah!)
A week before the wedding I met Manuel and Roger at the restaurant to go over all the details of their colorful Canivale Chicago Wedding. I love doing this with couples, no matter how small their wedding is, because we get to know each other and I also get to scope out photo locations to make the wedding day go smooth! I loved Manuel and Roger immediately, not only are they such a complimentary couple, but they also have that quick-witted sarcastic quality that I adore. I knew right away their wedding was going to be so much fun!
Manuel and Roger’s Carnivale Chicago Wedding Ceremony was just beautiful. Manuel is bi-linguel and the vows were said in both spanish and english for all of the guests. For the couples portraits I utilized the amazing venue with the colorful walls, mirrors and murals – it was a photographers heaven! Manuel and Roger had invited 75 of their closest friends and family and the room was filled with love! I was so honored to be a part of this beautiful Carnivale Chicago Wedding – Manuel and Roger, I cannot thank you enough for your hospitality and kindness! x0 – Lisa
